Whole Foods Market® Metro Chicago Community Support Day

Whole Foods Market has a history of establishing a deep commitment to each of the communities it serves. As part of this commitment, the company holds quarterly Community Support Days, in which five percent of one day’s sales are donated to a local nonprofit organization. The Metro Chicago June Community Support Day is being held Wednesday, June 26 to support CHIRP radio, Chicago’s Independent Radio Project. For more information visit chirpradio.org.

The five Metro Chicago Whole Foods Market stores will feature local performance artists (the complete schedule is available below). CHIRP is also hosting a sweepstakes for a prize package at each store. Guests can enter to win a package including the following: CHIRP t-shirt, CHIRP water bottle, CHIRP stainless steel bottle opener, CHIRP earbuds, a pair of lawn tickets to any Ravinia classical music performance this summer, and a pair of tickets to an upcoming July rock show (TBA – different tickets for each store).
