Frontier, West Town’s hottest spot for game, oysters and contemporary American cuisine, announces its lineup of “Odd Bit Monday” specials for the month of May.  Pioneer Tavern Group Corporate Chef Brian Jupiter is no stranger when it comes to blending unique proteins, such as hearts, bone marrow and other miscellaneous offal, with fresh, seasonal ingredients.  He is doing exactly that with “Odd Bit Monday,” a rotating weekly special which features unique animal parts.  See complete list of May specials below.  Prices will vary depending on market.  Full dinner menu available every Monday.

In celebration of the Kentucky Derby, Chicago q is going back to its Southern roots by opening at 10:00 AM to show the televised race.  Derby fans can enjoy specials all day, including house Mint Juleps and from the bar; and Derby Pie, Deviled Egg Flights and Smoked Ham Sliders from the kitchen, created by Chef/Partner Lee Ann Whippen.

Chicagoans are invited to join Pioneer Tavern Group as they host their second annual Cinco de Mayo Dos Equis Trolley Crawl between Lottie’s Pub, The Pony and Frontier.  Three trolleys will be stocked with Dos Equis beer and will also have Maestro Dobel Tequila and Dos Equis promotional girls on board traveling between the three venues.  While on the trolley, guests can win $100 gift cards and other raffle prizes.
