BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH AT CARLUCCI

Pink Table Promotion and Skin Care Benefit Event
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Carlucci in Downers Grove aims to do their part to combat the disease with promotions all month long. Throughout October, Carlucci will have their “Pink Table” available for reservations. Anyone that dines at the Table, adorned in a pink tablecloth, will have 10% of their dinner check donated by Carlucci to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. NATIONAL FETTUCCINE ALFREDO DAY AND NATIONAL TORTELLINI DAY AT CARLUCCI IN DOWNERS GROVE

National Fettuccine Alfredo Day is February 7 and Downers Grove pasta aficionado and restaurant, Carlucci, invites guests to celebrate the holiday the right way. The suburban Italian eatery is offering a variety of homemade fettuccine specials for lunch and dinner from Friday through Sunday. Patrons can enjoy “classic” egg fettuccine in Alfredo sauce with shaved Parmesan cheese, saffron fettuccine in garlic saffron sauce with black mussels, tomato fettuccine in tomato vodka sauce with grilled chicken, and other succulent pastas.

Not too long after is National Tortellini Day on February 13. Carlucci is celebrating the holiday by offering a variety of homemade tortelloni specials for lunch and dinner from Friday, February 13 through Saturday, February 15. The specials include butternut squash tortelloni in crisp sage-brown butter sauce, three cheese tortelloni in a fresh herb sauce, and more. On top of the homemade varieties of tortelloni, Carlucci will have one of its chefs making fresh pasta in the lobby for guests to see.
