Seadog Haunted Tours at Navy Pier

Seadog Haunted Tours run for approximately one hour and depart at 6:15 p.m. from Navy Pier. Additional tours depart at 8:15 p.m. every Saturday in October.

El Mariachi Tequila Bar is proud to be the official host of Chicago Costume’s 7th annual Halloween Fashion Show. The show will take place on El Mariachi’s heated patio and will feature Day of the Dead themed costumes, body paint designs and more.

 

 

Chicago Costume is the city’s go-to spot for this year’s best Halloween costumes with five seasonal locations and two year-round locations. Managers Courtland and Erin Hickey have put together an array of costumes for their 7th consecutive fashion show, which will showcase the season’s trendiest costume wear. “We are thrilled to have this year’s show at El Mariachi Tequila Bar,” said Hickey. “This year’s costumes will be Mucho Caliente!”

 

The evening’s event will be held from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on El Mariachi’s patio with Halloween inspired Don Julio cocktails to offer to guests. The event will be free upon entrance and there will be a cash bar throughout the night with $5 Margaritas.

American Junkie is proud to be the official host of Chicago Costume’s 5th Annual Halloween Fashion Show. The show will take place at American Junkie’s upstairs terrace and will feature space-themed costumes, body paint designs and a live performance by up-and-coming British musical artist, Natalia Kills.

Chicago Costume is the city’s go-to spot for this year’s best Halloween costumes with four seasonal locations in Wicker Park, River North, UIC and the Loop. Managers Courtland and Erin Hickey have put together an array of cosmic costumes for their 5th consecutive fashion show, which will showcase the season’s trendiest costume wear. “We are thrilled to have this year’s show at American Junkie,” said Hickey. “Having the models walk down the runway during the live performance will make this year’s preview event the best yet.”

Kills, who is often compared to well-known artists Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, has a unique sound that includes a mix of the theatrical dance-pop, 1940s film noir and the electro-gloom of Depeche Mode. She released her debut album Perfectionist in 2011 and was accompanied by four singles; “Mirrors”, “Wonderland”, “Free” and “Kill My Boyfriend”. Kills released her second album Trouble in 2013.

A VIP reception will be held from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. at American Junkie’s upstairs terrace with passed appetizers and specialty Halloween themed cocktails created by mixologist Tony Potempa. VIP tickets can be purchased in advance online for $25 each and include early entry and three drink tickets.

CHICAGO COSTUME AT COMIC CONVENTION

Chicago Costume has been selling at the convention since 2011, and will continue to highlight their sales at this weekend’s annual convention. Their selling items include, superhero and comic book character costumes, and movie replica props. 

 Chicago Costume rents character costumes and can create custom made costumes  for cosplayers who want to dress up for the convention. In addition, they will have  fully costumed models at the event to pose with attendees. They have a retail booth  at the convention and will be there all four days. Chicago Costume General  Manager, Courtland Hickey has been part of the convention for  several  years  now and says, “Wizard World is the quintessential comic book convention in  Chicago  where everyone dresses in costume.”
