CHICAGO COSTUME AND EL MARIACHI PRESENT DAY OF THE DEAD HALLOWEEN FASHION SHOW

El Mariachi Tequila Bar is proud to be the official host of Chicago Costume’s 7th annual Halloween Fashion Show. The show will take place on El Mariachi’s heated patio and will feature Day of the Dead themed costumes, body paint designs and more.

 

 

Chicago Costume is the city’s go-to spot for this year’s best Halloween costumes with five seasonal locations and two year-round locations. Managers Courtland and Erin Hickey have put together an array of costumes for their 7th consecutive fashion show, which will showcase the season’s trendiest costume wear. “We are thrilled to have this year’s show at El Mariachi Tequila Bar,” said Hickey. “This year’s costumes will be Mucho Caliente!”

 

The evening’s event will be held from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. on El Mariachi’s patio with Halloween inspired Don Julio cocktails to offer to guests. The event will be free upon entrance and there will be a cash bar throughout the night with $5 Margaritas.

About Chicago Costume:

Chicago Costume, has been outfitting Chicago in brilliant costumes since 1976, and can fully customize any costume from a one-person performance to an entire corporate event. El Mariachi Tequila Bar in Lakeview announces the first Tiki Taco Fiesta on Thursday, August 28. From 7 – 9 p.m. guests are invited to gather on the gorgeous patio for a fun filled Tiki night complete with a Mexican flare. Lakeview restaurant teams up with Sorbetsmith for Gluten and Dairy Free Pairing

 

El Mariachi Tequila Bar in Lakeview announces a partnership with Sorbetsmith for Chicago’s first-ever “Almost Summer” Sorbet Dinner. El Mariachi Executive Chef Saul Roman and Sorbetsmith founder Mike Rosenthal have teamed up to create innovative pairings that reflect the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine and culture.

 

Sorbetsmith is an artisan sorbet company that makes boldly crafted naturally creamy and allergen free frozen products. “I discovered my passion for sorbet while crafting desserts for friends in New York City,” said Rosenthal. “Having traveled throughout Mexico, I was thrilled to work on a menu like this with El Mariachi.”

 

El Mariachi Tequila Bar is part of the Mariachi Hospitality Group, a family-owned business that has served the Lakeview community since 1996. “We are excited to step out of the box and bring something new to Chicago’s culinary scene,” said Chef Saul Roman. “The collaboration with Sorbetsmith was inventive and unlike anything I have worked on. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of flavor and fusion.”
