Kanela Half-Price Wine at Dinner and Tomato Month

KANELA HALF-PRICE WINE AT DINNER
AND TOMATO MONTH
 

Located in Lakeview, Kanela will feature half-price on all bottles of wine Thursday, July 26 through Friday, August 31 at dinner only. Dinner is served weekly Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Half-price wine selections include Tamari Torrontes, Cupcake Chardonnay, Mezzacorona Moscato, Querceto Chianti, Napa Cellars Pinot Noir, Mavrodaphne (Greek Wine) and more.

While enjoying half-priced wine, guests are encouraged celebrate Tomato Month with Kanela this August by trying several signature dishes on their new dinner menu including Stuffed Meatballs, Flatbread and Scallops. Tomato menu items are listed below, and PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

KANELA CELEBRATES NATIONAL BLUEBERRY MONTH
Featuring Berries from Farms in Michigan

Chicagoans can keep it light this July at Kanela as they highlight fresh and healthy blueberry specials available daily in celebration of National Blueberry Month. Items are available at both breakfast and lunch. Kanela supports local farmers by sourcing several of its brunch and dinner ingredients from farms throughout the Midwest. All of their fresh berries come from independent farms in Michigan. Blueberry menu items are listed below, and PHOTOS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

KANELA NOW SERVING DINNER
Featuring Local, Organic and Seasonal items

Guests are invited to enjoy dinner, now available at Kanela located in Lakeview. Dinner will be served weekly, Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM beginning June 21. The dinner menu features local, organic and seasonal items and will range in price from $6 – $15. Menu highlights include Stuffed Meatballs, Bacon Mac and Cheese, Mushroom Risotto, Scallops and Pork Chop with peach pork jus.

Kanela sources its brunch and dinner ingredients from local farms including Fontanini in Chicago (chorizo), Wayne Farms in Michigan (chicken), Herburcks Farms in Michigan (organic eggs), and all fresh berries and asparagus are sourced from local independent farms in Michigan. Kanela uses grass fed beef from Tallgrass Beef Company, a company founded by Chicago TV personality and anchor Bill Kurtis that has certified farms throughout the Midwest. All Kanela’s steaks are from Midwest-raised cattle.

Additionally, Kanela has unveiled a cocktail, wine and beer list ranging in price from $6 – $9 by the glass. Wine by the bottle is also available. A sample of the dinner menu is available below.  The full menu is available upon request. Valet parking will be available for dinner service only.
