Millennium Park will once again become a culinary hotbed as Chicago Gourmet 2012 takes place Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30. The city’s top restaurants, chefs, sommeliers and experts will take part in foodie-focused festivities, which will include cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, seminars and much more.

The Bon Appetit-sponsored Dine Around program, which runs through Sunday, September 30, offers diners a chance to earn a free ticket to Chicago Gourmet by purchasing five meals at participating restaurants. During this time, Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush, Quartino Ristorante, Quay Restaurant and Bar, RIVA Crab House on Navy Pier, Tavern on Rush and Tuscany on Taylor will offer special prix-fixe Dine Around Menus for $35 or $55. Quay Celebrates Tomato Fest

QUAY CELEBRATES TOMATO FEST
Featuring Ingredients from Chef Dan Marquis’ Mill Road Farms 

In celebration of Tomato Month this August, Quay Restaurant & Bar invites guests to enjoy a special Heirloom Tomato Pizza with Fromage Blanc, Purple Basil, Smoked Mozzarella, and Truffle Oil for $5 every Monday at lunch and dinner (Restrictions: dine-in only, not valid with any other offer, one per person). Additionally, Quay will feature several weekly tomato specials available Monday through Sunday throughout August.

As an added bonus, some of the ingredients in these tomato dishes, like purple basil, red kamatsuna greens, parsley and other microgreens, are straight from Executive Chef Dan Marquis’ farm, Mill Roads Farm, in Sheffield, IL.

Quay House Brunch Saturdays

Quay Restaurant & Bar invites guests to the new House Brunch on Saturdays located in the Atrium Lounge.  The event will be held every Saturday and will feature House Music from DJ Jordan V, Quay’s brunch menu items and bottle specials.  The brunch menu includes items like House-smoked Salmon Benedict, Bananas Foster French Toast, Chicken Hash and more, ranging in cost from $7 and up.  The full menus are available upon request.
