UPDATED: SELFLESS CHARITABLE REWARDS PROGRAM

SELFLESS, a program that taps into the next generation of charitable givers, launched in Chicago last week. The rewards program gives perks to members who donate $9 a month to a charity. Perks are special offers, deals and events from local retailers, restaurants, spas and other lifestyle businesses.

SELFLESS doesn’t charge businesses and provides members ongoing access to these perks. Perks can be used whenever members want, as much as members want, without having to purchase or download a “deal” or “coupon”. Simply: Join, give back, get perks.

All donations are filtered through the “SELFLESS Impact Formula,” where each member will know, in a tangible, measurable way, what their money is doing to help our world. The company will be offering a two-week trial period for potential members interested in trying out the program. For more information and a full list of perks and charities, visit www.iamselfless.com.

Chicagoans can also look forward to ongoing news and monthly SELFLESS events that will bring local businesses together with local causes including their launch party at The Godfrey Hotel on Thursday, March 20. Charity representatives will be on site to speak with guests about the impact that can be made by joining the SELFLESS network. Additionally, Chicago-area restaurants will be providing bites while other SELFLESS partners will be offering complementary services. To attend, please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance to carly@blastmarketing.net

SELFLESS CHARITABLE LIVING PROGRAM NOW LIVE

SELFLESS, a program that taps into the next generation of charitable givers by effectively merging charity and commerce, launches today in Chicago. The program is focused on bringing benefits to like-minded businesses, charities and consumers by providing SELFLESS members with valuable perks usable at a wide range of local and online businesses in exchange for a nine dollar monthly donation to SELFLESS Causes. Eighty percent of those nine dollars is given directly to the charity of the member’s choice. Businesses can rely on SELFLESS to drive promotions, loyalty, and revenue, for free. The charities can rely on SELFLESS to bring in consistent revenue and evangelize for their cause, for free. And consumers are afforded a simple and rewarding way to donate to the causes they believe in.

“Being Selfless does not need to be just a self-sacrifice. We need to take care of ourselves first, in order to take care of others,” said founder Luke Jensen. “When members commit to give, businesses commit to share and charities commit to impact a community, everyone wins.” Co-Founder Mike Maravilla also said, “SELFLESS is propelled by passion and purpose. We truly believe that the collective power of mankind can make the world a better place and we want to start the change in Chicago.”
