Friday, October 5 – Sunday, October 7
Marathoners can enjoy a wide selection of pizza and pasta dishes to carbo-load all weekend at Tavern on Rush. The Rush Street favorite boasts a beautiful brick oven in its open air kitchen, creating a variety of thin-crust pizza pies. Pizzas include Margherita, Smoked Chicken with Bacon and Spicy Salami Muffuletta. Executive Chef John Gatsos is inspired by global flavors and ingredients for his delicious pastas, including the flavorful Firecracker Grilled Chicken Pasta tossed with cilantro pesto, roasted red peppers, sweet corn and whole wheat spaghetti; Shrimp Cipriani with ribbon noodles, tomato cognac sauce and jumbo shrimp; and Rigatoni with Sausage & Peppers. All pizzas and pastas are available gluten-free. The full menu is available upon request.
