Fourth of July Weekend Events at Drop

Wednesday, July 3 – Sunday, July 7

This Independence Day, Drop will host events on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evening and offer Freedom Shots–a red, white and blue layered vodka shot topped with whipped Cream, for $2.

Beginning on Wednesday, July 3, the lounge will host wine night. The event will be from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and feature complimentary cheese plates from well-known Chicago chefs paired with tastings from the bar’s portfolio of wine. A charitable donation to PAWS Chicago is suggested for attendance.

In celebration of the holiday on Thursday, July 4, Chicagoans are invited to RetroPop night. DJ Dominic David will be spinning top 40’s hits from the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s. The lounge will also offer $6 Red Bull bomb shots all day. Friday night will be hosted by DJ XL starting at 10 p.m. and Saturday, Jeffrey Taylor will headline beginning at midnight.

On Sunday, July 5, Drop invites guests to a post-beach after party where they will enjoy beats from resident DJ Poison Jam Sam. All Sailor Jerry Cocktails will be $4. Additionally, members of the service industry are invited to enjoy 50 percent off on select beverages.
